After some difficulty yesterday of reinserting Bill's feeding tube the nurse was patting herself on her back as she did the job successfully. He is still on a respirator, EKG monitor, PIC line, sedation and pain meds.

He can't talk to us due to his sedated state, but we still talk to him hoping he can hear something. As we watch the monitors, we can see that he is trying to breathe on his own at times. He now has a "fancy" bed which slowly moves him from side to side helping his circulation.

Good to hear you are fighting back, totally expected by the way. You are aways on our mind and hope your recovery continues to progress. It is amazing how something can change your life so quickly. Work hard, and you'll be back to the old "Bill".

  4. Hi Bill, and Dawn,

Today I went to Mass and prayed for you for quick recovery and no or less complications. I know you have always been a strong man with a good heart with lots of good friends and family in the time of needs. And vitamin E is great to spread on burnt skin for fast healing. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you till you recover fully.
