Bill is progressing nicely although he remains in critical, but stable condition.

His pain and sedation medicines are slowly being reduced and he is tolerating the decrease well. His blood pressure, temperature and heart rate are stable.

He continues to open his eyes - usually when he is being "fussed" with - bedding changes, dressing changes, respiratory care, chest x-ray, etc.

A much needed quiet day today. We'd like this to continue for a few days so his grafts will have some time to adhere.

  1. Dear Family

Thank you again and again for letting us know how Bill's condition is developing. We are very happy for his consistent improvement and hope to see him "out of the woods" real soon!

Please take care of yourselves too and get some rest!

Much love from the other side of the Atlantic!

I am so sorry that I haven't showed you and your family my concern for your father's condition....I didn't know until today when Judy sent this link.

I cried the whole time I read how this unfortunate event took place.

You can count on me to add to the prayers you and your family have been receiving in aid for your father's recory.

If there is anything that I can do to help....maybe babysitting? Please, please let me know.

    Your friend Jackie
